LUONNE

Noki on yhtäaikaa sekä helpoin että vaativin koiristani.
Se on kaikkein kuuliaisin ja kontaktihakuisin - se on se joka ensimmäisenä palaa laumasta jos ne ovat humputelleet yhdessä jonnekin kauemmas.
Noki on palavan lojaali omiansa kohtaan. Se pitää hyvin paljon ihmisistä yleensä, rakastaa vieraita, mutta minä olen sille ylitse muiden, lauman johtaja, omistaja. Noki on toisaalta myös vaativa ja itsepäinen. Erityisesti ulos on päästävä NYT eikä kohta ja hänellä on myös kekseliäät keinot saada viesti perille: mikäli oven raaputus tai äänekäs syyrialainen haukottelu ei riitä, kaivetaan häkkiä tai saatetaan jopa hypätä olohuoneen sohvapöytää kaivamaan, koska sitähän mamma ei taatusti sulata!

Nokilla on erittäin voimakas metsästys- vietti ja se ottaa riistan hajun myös ilmavainusta, joten toisinaan se on hieman haastava talutettava ja sitä joutuukin eniten komentamaan hihnassa. Se on myöskin sen verran kovapäinen että sitä on komennettava jämäkästi jotta viesti myös menisi perille. Noki on erittäin älykäs ja nopea oppimaan: naksutinkoulutus on sille ihan omiaan myös aktivointina koska se selvästi pitää pulmanratkaisusta ja se nauttii myös agilitysta.

Noki on laumassamme keskimmäinen ja sosiaalisesti hyvin taitava - siitä on mukava komennella ja poliisoida Chocoboa joka on alempana, ja se osaa myös käsitellä Johtaja Rasmusta kuitenkaan varsinaisesti sen auktoriteettia kyseenalaistamatta. Ruuan suhteen Noki varsinkin pitää huolen että saa varmasti oman osansa eikä vähempää kuin muut. Metsästysvietin ohella ruuantarve onkin sen hallitsevia piirteitä, siksi myös lempinimi "Alati nälkäinen".

CHARACTER

Noki is at the same time both the easiest and the most challenging of my dogs. He is the most obedient and most eager to maintain contact - if the whole pack is running free and takes off to somewhere a little further, Noki is the one who comes back first to check that I have not disappeared anywhere.

Noki is also zealously loyal towards his own people. He loves people in general, but it is clear that I am his leader and the one he most adores. 

On the other side Noki is also very demanding and stubborn when he gets something in his head. When he has get out for a walk, he has to do it right then and there. He will not settle for "wait, soon". And he knows just the things that will get people to act. So if poking with his nose and loud syrian-style yawning does not do it, he'll try clawing the door or with extreme cases, jumping on the living room table and trying to dig a hole through it! He knows that it's the last drop what will make the people react as it is definetely forbidden.

He also has extremely strong hunting instincts so it can be a bit challenging to walk with him in a leash as he instantly can smell if there are rabbits, squirrels or hedgehogs in the bushes and would rather go look for them to chase them. Otherwise he obeys fine, but in those situations seems he is deaf. He is also very intelligent and learns fast so he loves all kinds of activity where he has to use his brain, for example the clicker training is very rewarding with him. Because of his willing to work with me he also loves agility.

Noki is also very greedy when it comes to food. He especially loves chicken and cucumber and is very eager to make sure he will get his share of daily food and absolutely no less than our other dogs.
